Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion

Reconciliation (Confession)

Reconciliation is offered to Catholics who are at or above the ‘age of reason,’ usually second grade, or older.  Our traditional children’s formation for this sacrament is in 2nd grade.   Contact Michele Coughlin for 2nd grade preparations.  Preparation for the sacrament of Reconciliation is offered to adults, teens and older children through the RCIA program.  Please contact the Religious Education Office, , or Fr. Mark Lichter to register for RCIA.

Holy Eucharist (Holy Communion)

Our parish has daily Mass and four Sunday Masses for our parish to attend and receive Holy Eucharist, Saturday vigil Mass at 5pm, Sunday at 7:30, 9:30 and 11:30am.  Traditional First Eucharist preparation is in the 2nd grade.  After having received the sacrament of Reconciliation, children can receive Communion upon completion and approval of our pastor.  Parents must be registered with the parish, be attending Mass every Sunday, and attend all parent meetings.   Those preparing through the RCIA process, upon completion, will receive First Holy Communion at the Easter Vigil.

1st Holy Communion will be April 22-23 at all the weekend Sunday Masses.
